A fire at a foam factory in Kadamtali, Dhaka, was brought under control at 9:05pm on Friday, according to the Fire Service.
Fire Service media cell officer Anwarul Islam confirmed the information.
He said: “The fire was reported at 6:34pm. After receiving the information, five firefighting units went to the scene and began efforts to bring it under control. The fire was brought under control at 9:05pm.”
Anwarul Islam said the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage could not be known immediately.
