DMC’s Associate Professor Dr Shahnoor Islam of paediatrics confirmed the death.
He told the Dhaka Tribune that the twins had severe infections and complicated heart issues and many other complications which the doctors could not treat.
The twins were abandoned at DMC on Friday. Neither their parents nor any who abandoned them could be identified. It is assumed that they were born in a clinic in the city.
