Cops hit another militant den in Gazipur

Sanwar Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit, confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune. CTTC personnel cordoned off a house in the area around 3:30am on a tip-off that Dhaka division unit chief of new-JMB Akash and his cohorts were staying there. Later, the militants started firing at law enforcers since this morning and the gunfight remained continued as of filing this report around 1pm, he added.
