Biman Bangladesh Airlines has extended the suspension of all flights on the Dhaka-Dammam and Dhaka-Riyadh routes until November 4 amid airport attacks in Saudi Arabia.
The airline’s public relations department announced the decision in a statement on Sunday evening.
According to the statement, passengers can use Jeddah and Medina international airports to travel to and from Saudi Arabia in emergencies.
Considering passenger demand, Biman has been operating 2 daily flights on the Dhaka-Jeddah route since October 16. The service will continue until November 4, the statement added.
Meanwhile, regular flights on the Dhaka-Medina route are being operated using Boeing 787 aircraft.
Biman authorities said they would provide updates on future flight operations and travel schedules in due course.
Passengers have been requested to contact their nearest Biman Bangladesh Airlines sales center for information about tickets and travel.
