Tarique Rahman returned to Dhaka early Wednesday after visiting Sharadiya Durga Puja mandaps in Rangpur, Rajshahi and Chittagong.
He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:10am aboard a military aircraft.
He left Dhaka at 9am on Tuesday, Maha Navami, a significant day of the Durga Puja festival, to visit puja mandaps in the three divisions.
During the visits, he exchanged greetings with members of the Hindu community.
Devotees welcomed him warmly, expressing their joy through cultural performances.
