Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2027 will begin on January 7 and continue until February 6, according to Bangla Academy.
A notification, signed by Bangla Academy Director General Professor Mohammad Azam, on Sunday said the dates were finalised after discussions with publishers’ representatives.
A meeting on preparations for the annual book fair was held at the Shaheed Munier Chowdhury Conference Room of Bangla Academy on October 13.
Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury chaired the meeting, which was attended by Cultural Affairs Adviser Dr Zahed Ur Rahman and ministry Secretary Yasmin Begum, the release said.
