Airfare for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage has been set at Tk130,000, Tk24,830 lower than the 2026 fare, Information and Broadcasting Adviser Dr Zahed Ur Rahman said on Tuesday.
He made the announcement during the government’s weekly briefing at the Department of Information’s conference room, citing data from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Zahed said Hajj airfares have been reduced in phases in recent years as the government works to make the overall cost of the pilgrimage more affordable.
