Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Saturday handed over job appointment letters to family members of those who were subjected to enforced disappearance or killed during the movement against the Awami League government, as well as families of those killed in the July mass uprising.
The appointment letters were handed over at an event held at the Karabi Hall of the Prime Minister’s Tejgaon Office in Dhaka around noon.
Family members of the victims and officials from various levels of the government attended the event.
Several recipients became emotional after receiving their appointment letters. The prime minister assured them that he would always stand by them.
The program was conducted by the Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon.
