BNP Standing Committee Member and Prime Minister's Adviser Nazrul Islam Khan has been admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital.
BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan said Nazrul Islam returned to Dhaka from Singapore on June 25 and was admitted to Evercare Hospital on Tuesday.
Member of Parliament Advocate Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas visited Nazrul Islam at the hospital on Wednesday morning, he said.
He said Shimul Biswas also spoke with the attending physicians regarding his condition.
Sayrul Kabir said the doctors have requested that visitors refrain from meeting the BNP leader while he remains under treatment.
