Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday forecasted that rain or thundershowers would occur in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours, commencing at 9am.
According to a BMD office bulletin issued this morning: "Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions".
The bulletin also said the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies elsewhere over the country.
Daytime temperature may rise by 2-3°C, and nighttime temperature may remain nearly unchanged across the country.
