Sujauddoula appointed as deputy press secretary to Prime Minister

Md Sujauddoula has been appointed as the Deputy Press Secretary to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification regarding the appointment on Monday.

According to the notification, Md Sujauddoula has been appointed on a contractual basis as Deputy Press Secretary to the Prime Minister at the highest step of Grade-4 of the National Pay Scale. The appointment will be effective from the date of his joining and will remain valid for the tenure of the Prime Minister or until further notice at the Prime Minister’s discretion—whichever comes first. The appointment is subject to his resignation from any other profession, business, or employment with any government, semi-government, or private institution or organization.

Md Sujauddoula, who is also known as Sujon Mahmud, was born in Sonatala Upazila of Bogra District. He is a former student of the University of Dhaka. Prior to this appointment, he was working at the private television channel Bangla Vision. He also serves as the General Secretary of the Bogra Media and Cultural Society.
