In the second phase of the oath-taking ceremony alongside Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, independent MP Rumeen Farhana from Brahmanbaria-2 took her oath as a member of parliament. '
However, she left the hall before the oath for the Constitution Reform Council.
The ceremony was held shortly before 12:30pm on Tuesday at the National Parliament.
The oath was administered by AMM Nasir Uddin, chief election commissioner.
Earlier, the newly elected MPs from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) stated that they would not take the oath as members of the Constitution Reform Council.
