The Inqilab Mancha organization has demanded that the murder of Sharif Osman Hadi be investigated with the involvement of detective agencies like the FBI and Scotland Yard and through the formation of a “fast-track judicial tribunal” and has also warned of an anti-government movement.
Abdullah Al Jaber, member secretary of Inqilab Mancha, made this demand at an emergency press conference held on Monday, at 12 noon in front of the National Museum in Shahbag.
“Form a judicial tribunal as quickly as possible and, in doing so, involve detective agencies like the FBI and Scotland Yard,” Jaber said.
He also said that following their pre-announced program- a protest march at 3pm on Monday, they would announce their next course of action.
“We’ve called for a protest march at 3pm on behalf of Inqilab Mancha. After that protest, we will announce our program—whether we stand with this government or whether we will launch a movement through Inqilab Mancha to bring down this government.”
Jaber also declared: “Osman Hadi didn’t create a team that would sit down and liaise with us to maintain government stability while his murder goes without justice.”
Additionally, Inqilab Mancha has demanded that justice be ensured for the murder of Sharif Osman Hadi before the national parliamentary elections.
Jaber further said: "You cannot rush into elections and leave without revealing who killed Osman Hadi. Justice must be ensured before the election—there will be no election before that.”
He also added that Inqilab Mancha will not leave the streets until the killers involved in Osman Hadi’s murder and their sponsors are brought to justice.
