Snigdho: Even a thousand death sentences not enough for Hasina

Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdho, brother of Mir Mughdho, who was killed during the July mass uprising, has said that even a thousand death sentences would be too little for the crimes against humanity committed by ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina during the July Uprising.

He made the remarks while speaking to reporters in front of the International Crimes Tribunal on Monday morning.

“Justice for Sheikh Hasina’s wrongdoings was already served on August 5. We are now waiting for the court to formally announce that verdict,” Snigdho said.

“But for the crimes she has committed, even a thousand executions would not be enough.”

The International Crimes Tribunal started reading its verdict against Hasina on Monday.
