Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that the weather would remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am on Monday.
"Night temperature may fall by 1-2°C and day temperature may fall slightly over the country," said a Met Office bulletin on Monday morning.
The country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 32.6°C at Swandip under the Chittagong division and Sylhet, while the minimum temperature on Monday was recorded at 16.2°C in Rajshahi.
The sun sets at 05:15pm on Monday and rises at 06:10am on Tuesday in Dhaka.
