Detective Branch (DB) of Police arrested Md Nasir Uddin, chairman of the private TV channel Mytv, in the capital’s Gulshan area on Sunday night.
He was arrested in a case filed at Jatrabari police station linked to the July uprising.
He was later taken to the DB office at Mintoo Road in the capital.
Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the arrest of Nasir Uddin.
