Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus said on Monday that a united Bangladesh will be built, regardless of obstacles.
After offering prayers at the National Eidgah in Dhaka, the chief adviser extended his greetings to worshippers and made this remark.
He continued: “Today is the day to forge unwavering unity. We will continue our efforts to make it lasting.”
Remembering the warriors of July, he said: “At every stage, we must honor those who were martyred in the mass uprising. We must pray for the recovery of the injured. In the future, we will move forward as a united nation and fulfill the dreams of the warriors of July.”
Yunus added: “Today is a day of closeness, a day of love. I extend Eid greetings to everyone, including the worshippers present.”
He also conveyed Eid greetings on behalf of the nation to expatriates and women.
