The law ministry is now authenticating 36 types of documents online.
"The law ministry previously authenticated 36 types of documents manually, causing significant inconvenience for the public. To alleviate this hardship, the authentication process has been fully moved online as of December 13, saving both time and money," said Law Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul.
Earlier, the Law and Justice Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs announced in a notification that the division had begun authenticating documents for use abroad through the apostille method (online).
For documents intended for use abroad, an application must be submitted online via the link www.mygov.bd through the apostille method, following authentication by a notary public or magistrate if required.
After completing the online process, hard copies of all documents must be submitted to Room No 1112, Government Transport Pool Building.
