Legal Adviser Asif Nazrul has proposed organizing a rally to counter India's ongoing propaganda, emphasizing unity and solidarity among political parties.
Following a meeting with political parties and the chief adviser at the Foreign Service Academy on Wednesday evening, Nazrul briefed journalists about the outcomes.
“All political parties were present today. In the meeting, we all agreed on the need to protect Bangladesh’s sovereignty, independence, and dignity,” he said.
The meeting praised the role of all communities and emphasized maintaining communal harmony despite provocations.
Nazrul further said: “We will remain united, courageous, and steadfast against any propaganda or provocation. If future provocations arise, we’ll strive to strengthen our unity further.”
He also mentioned a proposal to organize rallies, a political council, or even a security council to counter India’s propaganda.
The meeting stressed that, despite differences in opinions, positions, and ideologies, the nation’s sovereignty and existence are paramount.
It was unanimously agreed that Bangladesh is strong and resilient, and no one should consider it weak or submissive.
This message will be firmly conveyed through collective efforts.
