Enforced disappearance complaint with ICT against Hasina, 41 others

Humayun Kabir, a businessman, on Monday filed an enforced disappearance complaint with the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) against 42 individuals, including former prime minister Sheikh Hasina.

He submitted the complaint to the Prosecution Office of the ICT on Monday.

The list of accused also includes former Inspector General of Police Benazir Ahmed, former DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia, along with other high-ranking officials of law enforcement agencies.

Humayun Kabir said that on October 27, 2018, he was abducted and detained for 11 days in a secret prison, popularly termed as “Aynaghor”, where he was subjected to electric shocks, had his hands, feet, and eyes bound, and was tortured while being hung upside down.
