Siraj Uddin Mia made principal secretary to Chief Adviser

Md Siraj Uddin Mia has been appointed as the principal secretary to the Chief Advisor of the interim government, Dr Muhammad Yunus.

This information was revealed in a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday.

The notification said Siraj Uddin Miah has been appointed for a two-year term, effective from his date of joining. As part of this appointment, he is required to sever any other professional, business, or work relationships with government, semi-government, or private institutions and organizations.

Other terms of this appointment would be determined by the approved contract.

The order was issued in the public interest, reads the notice.
