Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested former member of parliament and prominent garment industry businessman Abdus Salam Murshedy.
He was apprehended from the Bashundhara residential area of the capital on Tuesday night.
RAB's media wing officer A N M Imran Khan confirmed the matter.
In a text message, the RAB official stated that Abdus Salam Murshedy, the former MP for Khulna-4, was arrested in connection with a case filed in 2022 regarding an attack, assault, and murder in the Fulbari area of Khulna.
