A mild heat wave is sweeping parts of the country, according to Bangladesh Metrological Department (BMD).

Besides, light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country.
Day and night temperature may fall by (1-2)°C over the country.
