Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (Retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said law enforcement agencies must identify themselves when conducting any operation, including joint operations, and must carry out arrests accordingly.
Home Ministry Senior Information Officer Faisal Hasan shared this message in a message on Sunday night.
The adviser emphasized that arrests must be made only after law enforcement officers identified themselves. Under no circumstances should anyone be arrested without identification, he added.
