IDLC Finance PLC, the leading Non-Banking Financial Institution in the country, has reaffirmed its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with a substantial donation to the Bangladesh Cancer Aid Trust (BANCAT).
IDLC presented a Toyota Hiace microbus to BANCAT, aimed at providing essential shuttle services for marginalized cancer patients on Sunday.
BANCAT, a non-profit organization focused on raising cancer awareness and alleviating cancer-related suffering, operates "Alok Nibash," a facility dedicated to offering accommodation and care to underserved cancer patients undergoing treatment.
The newly donated microbus will play a crucial role in transporting these patients to and from hospitals, facilitating their access to medical care.
This donation underscores IDLC’s commitment to supporting healthcare initiatives that make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable communities.
It forms part of IDLC’s broader CSR strategy, which emphasizes health-related projects designed to alleviate the challenges faced by underprivileged groups across the nation.
