The Ministry of Water Resources has set up a control room to monitor the overall flood situation in the country and collect relevant information.
The ministry said in a press release on Thursday that the control room's mobile number is 01318234560.
Joint Secretary Md Rabiul Alam (phone: 01992439347) of the Ministry of Water Resources will act as the focal point officer for monitoring all matters.
The release added that designated officials or employees will maintain constant communication with the control rooms established in the affected districts and the control room of the Bangladesh Water Development Board to gather the latest information on the ongoing flood situation.
Additionally, they will prepare a consolidated report and submit it to the secretary of the Ministry of Water Resources.
