The Noakhali district administration has announced the closure of all educational institutions due to waterlogging caused by continuous heavy rainfall.
District Commissioner Dewan Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the matter on Tuesday.
It has been reported that most areas of Noakhali district town have been repeatedly flooded due to continuous rainfall over the past month. Water has also entered many government offices in the district.
District Commissioner Dewan Mahbubur Rahman stated that water has already entered most of the district's educational institutions, making it impossible to conduct classes.
