Rain or thundershowers are likely in different areas of all divisions in the 24 hours from 9am on Thursday.
"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely at many places in Chattogram division, a few places in Sylhet division, and one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barisal divisions", said a met office release.
A trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
The country's highest temperature on Wednesday was 36 degrees Celsius in Rangamati and the lowest on Thursday was 16 degrees Celsius in Dinajpur.
The most rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am on Thursday was 36mm in Rajarhat.
Day temperatures may rise by 1-3 degrees Celsius in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions, and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere across the country.
Night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged.
