The death toll from a cylinder blast in Gazipur last week has risen to 11 with one more injured succumbing to his injuries.
The deceased is Tawhid, 7.
Associate Professor Hossain Imam of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery confirmed the information.
Tawhid died at around 7pm while undergoing treatment at the burn institute's ICU.
Imam said that 80% of Tawhid’s body was burnt.
Earlier on Saturday, Tawhid’s sister Taiyeba, 4, passed away.
Currently, 17 people are undergoing treatment at the burn institute.
At least 35 people were injured in a gas cylinder explosion at a house in Kaliakair upazila of Gazipur on March 13.
The incident took place in a shanty town of Shafiqul Islam Shafiq in Kaliakair around 6pm.
