Bangladesh facing slow internet on Saturday

Internet users in Bangladesh may face temporary internet slowdowns on Saturday.

The disruption is likely to occur for 12 hours from 7am to 7pm.

Circuits connected through the SEA-ME-WE 4 cables, the country's first submarine cable, will be partially or fully closed.

Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited (BSCCL) informed the consumers about this in a press release.

However, circuits connected through the country's second submarine cable, SEA-ME-WE 5, installed at Kuakata, will operate as usual.
