Bangladesh Telecom Company Limited (BTCL) has launched a call centre number 16402 in case of telephone and internet service disruption.
“If BTCL's telephone or internet service is disrupted during development work or for any other reason, customers can contact BTCL's call centre at 16402 immediately,” according to BTCL.
Contacting any problem will also get a solution.
State Minister for Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has warned on Monday that no customer of BTCL should suffer any kind of hassle or disturbance to get this government service.
When attention of the state minister was drawn to a social media post of a customer who was disconnected from the BTCL’s internet service due to the cut of BTCL's cable in Banglamotor area of Dhaka, he immediately took measures to resolve the matter and took into account the complaints of other customers.
The state minister also warned the concerned parties strictly.
