Awami League Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim on Monday said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly for the development of the country and its people.
"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working to protect human rights," he told a blanket distribution programme among the cold-hit people in the city's Abu Jar Gifari University College.
Awami League will work for the country and its people, as well as the party, does not politics to hostage people, he added.
BNP is a terrorist political party as they killed people in the name of movement, the Awami League leader said.
Later, Bahauddin Nasim distributed blankets among cold-hit people in the city's Paltan community centre.
