Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that weather may remain dry with partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am on Friday.
"Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country," said a met office bulletin.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the southern part of the country and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country from midnight to Saturday morning.
The ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 29.5° in Srimangal of Sylhet Division while Friday's minimum temperature was recorded 9.6° in Tetulia of Rangpur.
