A delegation of Awami League, led by Awami League Presidium Member Muhammad Faruk Khan, will visit China on Wednesday at the invitation of the Communist Party (CPC).
The other delegation members are international Sub-Committee member Khaled Masud Ahmed, Tarun Kanti Das and Suman Kundu.
A member of the delegation confirmed the visit to China.
He said: “We will depart from Dhaka to China at around 3 pm on Wednesday. The team leader, Muhammad Faruk Khan, will come back on Sunday, while the other three will return on November 14."
During the visit, Awami League leaders will have a bilateral meeting with China's ruling party leaders. They may discuss various political matters, including the Rohingya issue.
