A total of 18 arsons were reported across the country from 4am on Sunday to 10am on Monday, the fire service has said.
Of these 10 arson attacks were reported in the two Dhaka city corporations, UNB quoted said Talha Bin Jasim, station officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence media cell, as saying on Monday.
The official said a total of 14 arsons were reported in Dhaka division and four in Chittagong division.
A total of 13 buses, two trucks, one car, one CNG-run autorickshaw and one human hauler were torched during this period.
Thirty-six firefighting units were engaged in extinguishing the blazes, added the officer.
