DNCC set to demolish 8 high-risk kitchen markets

The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has ordered the evacuation and demolition of eight dangerous kitchen markets, declared abandoned four years ago, within the next 15 days.

EC: National polls in first week of January, schedule in November

Election Commissioner (EC) Md Anisur Rahman on Sunday said the 12th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) elections will be held in the first week of January, 2024 and the schedule will be announced in November next.
