A Dhaka court framed charges against seven people including BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and BNP Joint Secretary General Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohel in the Police Constable Shamim murder case. Through this, the formal trial of the case began.
Acting Judge Bilkis Akhter of the Additional Fourth Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court of Dhaka formed the charges, rejecting the plea of acquittal of the accused, on Thursday.
