NSU Startups Next (NSUSN), the incubation program that look after startup growth, successfully hosted an empowering information session “Embrace the Rhythm with Chondo” on August 16, 2023, at the NSUSN Office.
The event was aimed at growing awareness about reproductive well-being and mental health among young women, says a press release.
It also aimed to dismantle societal taboos and encourage open dialogues among university students and relevant industry experts.
The spotlight of the event was on Chondo, a Femtech startup and a proud member of NSUSN's Pre-Incubation program, which took innovative approaches to women's healthcare and hygiene.
Backed by NSUSN and the EMK Centre, the session facilitated conversations between participants and medical and mental health experts.
The event took a crucial step forward in breaking down the societal barriers and myths surrounding women's health.
Nusrat Kabir Prova, co-founder and CEO of Chondo, emphasized the significance of open conversations, stating: “It’s crucial for women to engage in open conversations about their reproductive health and mental well-being with experts. Chondo is steadfast in its commitment to dismantling societal stigmas and empowering women to embrace the natural rhythm of their bodies.”
The event's objective was to drive positive change in societal perceptions of women's health by challenging stereotypes and encouraging an environment of inclusiveness.
Attendees engaged with medical professionals, exchanging ideas and gaining insights that could potentially shift perspectives.
