The 21st and 22nd convocation ceremony of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) is scheduled to be held at 3pm on Tuesday.
The program is set to be streamed live on a virtual platform from the IUB auditorium at Bashundhara, Dhaka, according to a press release issued on Monday.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni is expected to confer the degrees on behalf of President Abdul Hamid, the chancellor of the university.
Founding Chairman of Apex Footwear Syed Manzur Elahi, also a former advisor to the caretaker government, is supposed to attend the event as the convocation speaker.
Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Professor Kazi Shahidullah would be present as special guest.
