An agreement on access to CIB Online System was inked between Probashi Kallyan Bank and Bangladesh Bank on Tuesday.
MD Anis Ur Rahman, director of the Credit Information Bureau, represented Bangladesh Bank and Managing Director Md Mazibur Rahman represented Probashi Kallyan Bank, reads a press release issued on Wednesday.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Abu Farah Md Nasser and Executive Director AKM Fazlul Haque Mia.
Other senior officials from the Credit Information Bureau of Bangladesh Bank and Probashi Kallyan Bank, including Deputy Managing Director Md Jahangir Hossain, General Manager Md Noor Alam Sardar and Deputy General Manager Md Harun Or Rashid, were also present at the event.
The CIB Online System, which has been developed by the Credit Information Bureau of Bangladesh Bank, helps the users get the CIB report of any person, proprietorship, or company and notify CIB of a new credit request of a client from bank or financial institutes.
