The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has lifted all the Covid-19 guidelines for passengers arriving from outside Bangladesh.
From now, passengers arriving from outside Bangladesh will not have to carry their Covid-19 vaccination certificate or provide RT-PCR test report, said a notification signed by Air Commodore Shah Kawsar Ahmed Choudhury on Thursday.
However, passengers travelling from Bangladesh to other countries should take necessary actions as per the conditions set by the destination countries, reads the notification.
Earlier, international passengers were required to show their Covid-19 vaccination certificate or RT-PCR test report. In the case of non-vaccinated individuals, they were obliged to undergo testing before coming to Bangladesh.
Foreign passengers also had to fill out the Health Declaration Form (HDF) online to come to Bangladesh.
However, on October 30, 2022, this directive was cancelled by CAAB. It was then instructed that passengers should carry proof of vaccination.
