Bangladesh Jewellers Samity's (Bajus) has announced a hike of Tk1,283 per bhori in the prices of 22-carat gold.
As per the latest rates, each bhori of 22-carat gold will now be sold at Tk98,444.16.
The move comes in the wake of soaring international bullion prices, according to a Bajus press release.
The new prices will come into effect from Sunday.
On April 10, Bajus cut gold prices by 2% to Tk97,161.12 a bhori from an earlier high of Tk99,144.
The Bajus had last hiked gold prices on April 2.
