People from all walks of life paid their last tribute to Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder and valiant freedom fighter Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury at the Central Shaheed Minar on Thursday.
His body reached the Shaheed Minar around 10:05am in the morning.
The valiant freedom fighter Dr Zafrullah was given a guard of honour at the Shaheed Minar.

Worker's party leader Rashed Khan Menon, Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, among others including representatives of Bangladesh Medical Association, Women's Party and Bangladesh NAP paid their respects.

His body is scheduled to be taken to Suhrawardy Uddyan after 1pm where his namaz-e-janaza will be held at around 2:30pm.

Funeral arrangements will be announced on Thursday.
Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury breathed his last at Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital late Tuesday.
Zafrullah was transported to Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, after becoming seriously ill on April 5.
A medical board of notable physicians was formed on April 7 for his treatment.
He was put on life support on Monday after his condition deteriorated.
The noted physician had also been politically active for the past few years, although he was relatively inactive in politics this year.
He is survived by his wife, son, daughter and scores of well-wishers.
