Freedom fighter and Gonoshasthaya Kendra Founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury has been kept under close observation while his physical condition remains unchanged.
Gonoshasthaya Kendra Press Advisor Jahangir Alam Mintu said this in a press release at 8:30pm on Monday.
Professor Brigadier General (retd) Dr Mamun Mostafi, doctor of the public health centre, had said: "Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury was put on life support when his physical condition deteriorated at 10:30am on Monday morning. He is now in the ICU at Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital. Medical treatment is going on to improve his health."
Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury is under treatment in the hospital due to physical illness for the past several days.
