Two Bangladeshi expatriates, who were returning to their workplaces after completing Umrah, were killed in a road crash in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Sagar Jomaddar, 23, and Mozammel Hossain, 45. They were brothers-in-law and residents of Borguna upazila.
The incident took place at around 8pm when three people, including the victims, were on their way back to work after performing Umrah.
Their car lost control and crashed into a rocky hill at a nearby area. Jomaddar and Hossain were killed instantly on the spot.
The other passenger of the vehicle informed the family members of the victims about the accident.
Family members of the victims have sought the help of the government to get the bodies back.
In this regard, Betagi Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Suhrid Salehin said that the Saudi Arabia Embassy would take all measures to bring the bodies of the two pilgrims to Bangladesh soon,
