The National Moon-Sighting Committee will hold a meeting on Wednesday after Maghrib prayers at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque conference hall to determine the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
State Minister for Religious Affairs Md Faridul Haque Khan will preside over the meeting, said a press release issued on Tuesday.
The Islamic Foundation (IF) has requested all to dial the following numbers or contact the deputy commissioners or the upazila nirbahi officers of the district concerned if the moon is sighted anywhere in the skies of Bangladesh.
