Another case has filed with Bangshal police station in connection with Tuesday's blast in Gulistan's Siddikbazar that claimed 22 lives so far.
The case was filed by police on Thursday night for alleged negligence over the deadly explosion, Md Mujibur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Bangshal police station.
According to Bangshal police sources, the case was filed against unknown individuals, under section 304A of the Penal Code.
The case is being investigated to uncover all kinds of negligence including gas connection and design of the building. Whether there is any liability of the building owners and the related parties is also being investigated.
Earlier, an unnatural death case was filed with the police station in connection with the explosion.
Three people including the building owner have been placed on remand in the case.
