Canada road crash: Bodies of 2 victims to reach Bangladesh in 4 days

The bodies of two Bangladeshi students, who were killed in a recent road crash in Canada, would be sent back to the country within four days. 

The process of bringing back the bodies of Shahriar Khan, and Arian Deepta has begun, said Arian's sister Sanjida Alam on Thursday. 

All necessary documents have already been sent to the Bangladesh Embassy in Canada, she added. 

She said: "If everything goes well, the bodies of Arian and his classmate Shahriar Khan will reach Bangladesh in the next four days."

However, it is not yet known when the body of Angela Baroi, another student among the three victims, will reach the country.

Meanwhile, noted Bangladeshi singer Kumar Bishwajit has said the condition of his son, Nibir Kumar, who sustained critical injuries in a recent road accident in Canada, has improved.

He is undergoing treatment in a local hospital in Toronto following the road crash in Ontario on Monday.

The singer flew out to Canada on Tuesday night after receiving the news of the accident.

Three Bangladeshi students were killed in the accident that took place on Highway 427 southbound ramp to Dundas Street West in Ontario on Monday.

The deceased students are Shahriar Khan, Angela Baroi and Arian Deepta.

They were all living in Toronto on study permits from Bangladesh, said Ontario Provincial Police in a tweet.

According to the police, Nibir Kumar was driving the car involved in the accident. The rest were passengers. Two died on the spot while another died after being taken to hospital.
