An Allegation has been raised against the BNP leaders and activists of Kamrangirchar for attacking the TV journalists while they were going there to collect the news of the BNP rally in the capital's Naya Paltan area.
The victims journalists claimed that they were physically assaulted and their drone and a GoPro-9 video cameras were vandalized.
They also snatched various documents including an android mobile, money bag, credit card, NID from the journalists.
Saleheen, one of the journalists who were attacked, told Bangla Tribune: “When the drone camera was being flown at the BNP rally ground, some BNP leaders and activists came and obstructed them. Even though they introduced themselves as journalists, the attackers took away the drone and vandalized it.”
“Various documents including an android phone, mobile, money bag, credit card, NID of my assistants were also snatched away,” he claimed.
The attackers were BNP leaders and activists of Kamrangirchar thana BNP unit, claimed Saleheen.
He also said that the incident was informed to BNP central leaders.
"We have informed the central leaders of BNP about the attack. If compensation is not made, we will take action. They have assured that they will look into the matter after the rally,” said the journalist.
