Planning Minister MA Mannan on Saturday said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lead the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) in the country to move forward the development spree of the nation.
"The firm and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ensured the marching forward of the Bengali nation...all concerned will have to remain united to build the future Bangladesh facing all the conspiracies. Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina will lead the country in the 4th industrial revolution," he said.
The Planning Minister said this while addressing a function as the chief guest marking the 'Village Day' held at Bhedorganj upazila of the district on Saturday.
Deputy Minister for Water Resources Enamul Haque Shamim, Nahim Razzaque, MP, Abdul Momin Mondol, MP, Zila Parishad Chairman Sabedur Rahman Khoka Shikder, deputy commissioner Md Parvez Hasan, Police Super Md Saiful Haque, Dutch Bangla Bank managing director Abul Kashem Md Shirin spoke, among others, on the occasion.
Organized by Lakarta Foundation, its president Azadur Rahman Shikder presided over the function.
Turning to the recent movement by the BNP, the Planning Minister said that the massive developments carried out by the Awami League government in the country, has been causing heart burns for BNP.
So, they are hatching various conspiracies and thus trying to grab the power through the back door by creating anarchy in the country, he said, adding that the country's people would thwart their all plots.
He also alleged that the BNP wants to turn Bangladesh as a 'dysfunctional' country through hindering the development spree. "But, the people of the country will foil all of their ill attempts."
Mannan also urged all to strengthen the hands of Sheikh Hasina to turn Bangladesh as a hunger and poverty free smart country.
Marking the Village Day, free medical camp, rural fair, distribution of lifetime achievement award, providing free houses, cows, rickshaws, sewing machines also took place.
